Job Description:

The Digital S/W Eng Lead Analyst role is a strategic professional position that contributes to the development and execution of technical strategies while mentoring and leading engineering teams. It involves driving technological outcomes, developing and delivering efficient applications, providing architectural guidance, and managing cross-functional projects.

Job Responsibility:

Execute and drive results on large-scale or medium/large efforts
serve as a development lead
support end user consultation to identify system function specifications
support Digital roadmaps
publish design review extensions
provide documented guidance aligned to sprint plans and timelines
participate in microservices and NGA code reviews
lead broader design decisions and long-term strategies
provide architectural guidance based on best practices
solve for dependencies between agile and waterfall delivery efforts
mentor SDEs and their teams
implement continuous improvement to software development lifecycle
manage risks and escalate issues with transparency

Requirements:

6-10 years of relevant experience in an Apps Development role or senior level experience in an Enterprise Architecture role with subject matter expert in one or more areas
expertise in all aspects of technology by understanding broader patterns and techniques as they apply to Citi’s internal and external cloud platforms
experience with application development methodologies for program analysis, design, coding, testing, debugging and implementation
knowledge of angular, java, microservices, AWS, security, HTML, iOS and/or Android mobile applications
understanding of NGA technology
ability to automate code quality, code performance, unit testing, and build processing in the CI/CD environment
Bachelor’s/University degree
Master’s degree preferred

Nice to have:

knowledge of financial industry skills
familiarity with AWS PWS
ability to mentor and coach team members
experience with microservices and NGA code reviews
