Job Description:

The Deliver Senior Manager is responsible for managing the material management of raw materials & finished goods warehousing through a team, developing and implementing management and distribution policies, and ensuring material & finished goods availability when needed. He/She is also responsible for the order-to-cash service, through service level agreements with our partners. He/She is responsible for the total Japan Deliver Cost.

  • Lead and manage a team of professionals to deliver high-quality results in accordance with the company's standards and objectives

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of projects and initiatives, while maintaining effective communication and stakeholder engagement
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to team members, while fostering a culture of continuous learning and development
  • Monitor and analyze key performance metrics to identify areas of improvement and implement corrective actions as needed
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and best practices in the field, and leverage them to drive innovation and enhance the company's competitive advantage
  • Drive logistics performance to customer satisfaction while ensuring high standards of quality, service, sustainability, and cost-efficiency across distribution operations
  • Lead the team to coordinate collaboration with key warehousing and outbound transportation logistics partners, set standards, and drive improvements
  • Attract and develop high performing employees and provide coaching, training, and inspiration
  • Develop and build strong partnerships with key vendors who are providing resources to enhance a good working relationship and maximum flexibility
  • Seek and implement service improvements wherever possible and represent the regional team in the development and improvement of global processes and procedures
  • Ensure material availability, timely distribution and customer satisfaction
  • Supervise material handling and distribution staff
  • Manage resourcing of global and regional network projects and requests, ensuring that each one has a clear owner and the business requirements are understood and can be met
  • Oversee requests through their life cycle and ensure effective reporting is in place to monitor team activities and highlight potential issues
  • Drive strategic relationships with logistics partners based on shared objectives, standardization, continuous improvement, innovation, and digitization
  • Maintain relationships with key customers
  • Resolve difficult problems and customer complaints
  • Analyzes changes in the inventory of material and finished goods relating to supply, demand and pricing
  • Communicate relevant information to appropriate management and sales department

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field, with a minimum of 8-10 years of relevant experience in a managerial role
  • Proven track record of successfully leading and managing teams to achieve business objectives and deliver high-quality results
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders at all levels
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment
  • 8-10 years related experience in transportation and warehousing
  • Hands-on experience in 3PL operations
  • University/Bachelors Degree or Equivalent in E2E Supply Chain knowledge
  • Strong leadership, communication, and influence prowess
  • Experience working in a global/regional function and matrix environment
  • A track record of successful use of optimization and problem-solving tools like Lean, Six Sigma, DMAIC, waste elimination, automation, network re-design
  • Ability to collaborate and build strong partnerships internally and externally with customer focus
  • Zeal for innovation and digitization
  • Knowledge of logistics systems and automation tools
  • Knowledge of logistics operations across industries underpinned by participation in forums, networks, conferences, collaboration projects
  • Demonstrated impact in roles requiring orchestration and influence

  • Strong technical knowledge of network, communication application, and service delivery concepts, including SDN, SD-WAN, Network Automation, Cloud Solutions, 5G
  • Proven experience in network and infrastructure planning, delivery, development, and operational support
  • Demonstrated people leadership experience and strong leadership skills
  • Extensive experience in managing outcomes in IT infrastructure environment
  • Strong expertise and experience with network delivery and project processes, including extensive experience managing technically complex telecommunication deployments and projects
  • Strong experience translating business requirements into technical network solutions
  • Proven ability to manage global and regional vendors
  • Experience of managing budgets
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Exceptional customer service focus
  • Ability to utilize PMP methodology, SCRUM methodology, and DevOps in day to day work
  • Highly self-motivated and directed with keen attention to detail
  • Proven analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving abilities with the ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
  • Team-oriented and collaborative working style
  • Willingness to work some unsociable hours – weekends and evenings – to support implementations
