Blockstream is seeking a Delivery Project Manager, a client-facing role responsible for executing defined client solutions, managing project workstreams, and supporting solution shaping activities across enterprise and institutional engagements. This role focuses on hands-on delivery leadership combined with strong project management discipline, and operates under the guidance of Senior Managers and the Director, Head of Delivery. Within the Service & Enterprise Solutions organization, the Delivery Manager plays a critical role in turning defined solution needs into reliable, production-ready outcomes.
Job Responsibility:
Execute day-to-day delivery activities for assigned client solutions and manage project work streams within enterprise and institutional engagements
Plan and track project activities, including tasks, timelines, milestones, deliverables, and dependencies
Support solution definition and deal shaping activities by providing delivery input on scope, sequencing, risks, and feasibility
Execute delivery plans covering timelines, milestones, resources, dependencies, and risks
Coordinate delivery activities across Engineering, Product, Integration, vendors, and client teams to ensure alignment and progress
Track delivery progress, risks, and issues, escalating where appropriate to senior project leadership
Maintain project documentation, status reports, and meeting artifacts
Facilitate project meetings, including planning sessions, stand-ups, and retrospectives
Monitor progress against delivery commitments and provide regular status updates to stakeholders
Support testing, go-live activities, operational readiness coordination, and early-life production stabilization
Ensure delivery activities comply with established governance, quality standards, contractual requirements, and regulatory requirements
Contribute to delivery reporting, documentation, and client communications
Support continuous improvement initiatives across delivery processes, project management frameworks, and tooling
Requirements:
5–7 years of experience in delivery management, project management, program coordination, or solution implementation within banking, financial services, fintech, or technology infrastructure environments
Proven experience managing technical delivery projects and multi-system solutions in complex, regulated environments
Understanding of project tracking, risk management, delivery coordination, and multiple delivery streams
Experience working with or supporting regulated financial services clients (banking, custody, payments, capital markets)
Strong organizational and execution skills with the ability to manage multiple delivery streams and priorities
Familiarity with modern delivery environments, including cloud, DevOps, and CI/CD-driven execution
Familiarity with agile, hybrid, or waterfall delivery models
Ability to communicate effectively with technical teams, business stakeholders, and client stakeholders
Self-starter with proven ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams and geographies, demonstrating high-quality and high-touch customer engagement throughout all phases of delivery
Languages: Swiss German, German, and English required
French highly preferred for Geneva market
Italian a plus
Location: Switzerland, with focus on Zurich, Geneva, and Lugano as locations

Exposure to digital asset, blockchain, crypto infrastructure, custody, or payments platforms
Experience working with core banking or financial market infrastructure systems
Background in consulting, system integration, or managed services organizations
PMP, PRINCE2, SAFe, or similar project management certifications
