Job Description:

The Delivery Manager at BRIGHTSCOUT is a key leadership role within the Ops & Delivery Department. You report to the Operations Manager — Acting Delivery Lead and are responsible for ensuring that all client projects are delivered on time, within scope, and at the highest standards of quality and performance. This role blends delivery governance, people leadership, and cross-functional alignment. You will lead and mentor the Project Management team, uphold operational and delivery standards, and elevate client satisfaction through clear processes and strategic oversight. As BRIGHTSCOUT continues to scale, the Delivery function is expected to transition into its own independent department. The Delivery Manager hired into this role will play a crucial part in shaping and eventually leading that evolution.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead the Delivery function within the Ops & Delivery Department
  • Set standards for quality, delivery consistency, and client experience
  • Ensure alignment between PMs, Operations, Talent, and Department Leads
  • Contribute to delivery KPIs and uphold high performance across all accounts
  • Co-own the BRIGHTSCOUT Delivery Playbook
  • Audit delivery practices to ensure consistency, adherence, and clarity
  • Partner with Sales to validate scope, estimates, feasibility, and team composition
  • Define and enforce change-control rules and SOW guardrails
  • Lead, develop, and coach the Project Management team through 1:1s, performance reviews, and growth plans
  • Oversee PM onboarding in collaboration with Operations and Talent
  • Support PMs in complex delivery scenarios, client escalations, and risk mitigation
  • Maintain delivery rituals and alignment routines for the PM team
  • Serve as escalation point for key client issues
  • Collaborate with service vendors, contractors, and partner agencies on resourcing and quality
  • Work with the Acting Account Manager Pool on CSAT, account health, and strategic alignment
  • Ensure PMs maintain proactive, structured communication with clients and internal teams
  • Collaborate with Ops on reporting consistency, systems alignment, capacity visibility, and operational risk
  • Partner with Talent on hiring pipelines, onboarding, and performance cycles
  • Maintain alignment with Design, Engineering, and Strategy teams to ensure unified delivery execution

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in delivery, project management, or cross-functional leadership in digital, creative, or product-driven environments
  • Proven experience leading PM teams and managing complex client portfolios
  • Strong command of delivery methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall)
  • Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and conflict-resolution abilities
  • Ability to lead within a transitional structure and later scale an independent department
  • Strong operational discipline, emotional intelligence, and decision-making under pressure
