As we scale, we are looking for a Technical Delivery Manager to evolve our "ways of working." Our engineering structure has successfully expanded across three core groups (Infra, AI/ML, and Product), and we need a systems-thinker to ensure our delivery framework matches our ambition. This isn't a role for a project coordinator; it is for an architect of execution who will reclaim engineering capacity, silence the noise, and make our commitments ironclad. In our ecosystem, roles are clearly defined to ensure excellence: Product Managers own the What & Why (The Roadmap). Engineering Leads own Quality (Technical Execution). Platform Support owns Resolution (Frontline Response). YOU (Delivery Manager) own the How & When. You own the delivery system that makes flow predictable and commitments reliable.
Job Responsibility:
Design the Delivery System: Design and operate a unified framework across all product squads. Standardize planning cadences and metrics (Velocity, Cycle Time, Throughput) while keeping the process lightweight and value-driven
Cross-Squad Visibility: Act as the connective tissue between Infra, AI/ML, and Product. Maintain a live view of dependencies and blockers, surfacing risks before they disrupt a sprint
Strategic Capacity Planning: Support Engineering and Product leads with honest, data-backed capacity modeling to surface staffing gaps well in advance of failure points
Intake & Triage Governance: Partner with Platform Support to ensure client escalations and business-critical bugs travel through a system, never landing directly in an engineer’s DMs
Actionable Data Reporting: Turn metrics into decisions. Use Lead Time and Trend Analysis to challenge assumptions, expose bottlenecks, and facilitate honest conversations about trade-offs between scope, speed, and quality
Cross-Functional Partnership: Build trusted relationships with Customer Success, Operations, and Leadership. Be the credible voice that accurately represents engineering reality
Requirements:
5-7 years in Technical Program Management or Delivery Leadership within a high-growth engineering organization
Systems Thinking: You understand the mechanics of delivery. You can explain how WIP limits, branching strategies, or dependency lags impact the bottom line and design structural fixes for them
Scaling Expertise: You know how to standardize processes across diverse functions (like Infra vs. AI) without creating soul-crushing bureaucracy
Data Mastery: Expert-level proficiency in Jira/Linear (or equivalent). You use data to reset stakeholder expectations and challenge optimistic (but unrealistic) planning
Technical Fluency: You have sufficient technical knowledge of the product and tech stack to be credible with engineers
