Delivery Lead

• Drive the development of Insurance manufactory platform and customer journey transformation plans to achieve business goal.
• Lead and manage the progress of key Insurance initiatives through agile value streams and collaboration with Global teams, internal groups, local teams and external suppliers.
• Collaborate with Insurance business units on IT Projects prioritisation based on the business case to optimise IT resources usage, and liaise with Insurance (Global) and WPB on overall IT budget management, resources allocation and prioritisation amongst all HSIC projects.
• Review and track business benefits of Insurance IT / transformation initiatives.
• Provide governance of transformation projects and coordinate related governance meetings to oversee all HSIC’s infrastructure, operations, technology, change initiatives, and the relationships with Global Functions and IT Teams as necessary to execute corresponding activities.
• Work with respective HSIC business units to identify process streamlining and re-engineering opportunities, oversee and report on project progress and respective benefits as appropriate.
• Lead the team to develop strong business focus when implementing various manufacturing platform and customer journey transformation initiatives to achieve the intended business outcomes.
• Ensure all control measures relevant to the job responsibilities are undertaken to minimise the risk exposure of the company.
• Manage operational risks including the identification, assessment, mitigation and controls, loss identification of, and reporting on those risks.
• Taking primary accountability to manage company level IT investment portfolio to ensure: Annual IT budget plan is well defined, aligned and communicated with Global/ WPB Project Management Office and related stakeholders
• Business outcome and key objectives are clearly linked with the planned capabilities/ features
• IT resources are interlocked within the budget and recharge as per agreed schedule and plan
• Proper governance on change management control and tracking of business outcome.

• Seasoned financial services professional with experiences in transformation management, technology, and digital transformation, preferably in the insurance business, and related regulatory, compliance and operational risk fields.
• Proven track record of effective and agile project management, including project planning and decision making, identifying priorities and bringing a wide range of projects to successful completion.
• Strong team leadership to manage project teams and engage with diverse business and functional stakeholders, coach and support teams at different levels.
• Strong problem-solving skills with conceptual and analytical capabilities to work with ambiguities.
• Acute sense of business direction and thorough knowledge of WPB business and Fintech to exercise sound judgment in cross-business initiatives.
• Keep abreast of technology and market developments, and business trends to explore new business opportunities.
• Strong sense of ownership and servicing mindset to ensure efficient and effective customer service processes.
• Strong written communication skills, ability to clearly document the current state and the recommendations.
• University degree in a relevant discipline, or a professional qualification.
• High proficiency in Chinese and English.
• Professional qualifications such as Enhanced Competency Framework (ECF) and/or Certified Banker (CB) under Hong Kong Institute of Bankers (HKIB) would be an advantage.
