The Delivery Enablement Lead will be accountable for defining, developing, and embedding capital delivery processes that support efficient, high-quality project and programme delivery across GNI. The role will focus on the practical design and implementation of end-to-end capital processes, ensuring they are clear, usable and proportionate. The Delivery Enablement Lead will work closely with delivery teams, programme managers, and key support functions to embed consistent ways of working across the capital lifecycle.
Job Responsibility:
Define, develop, and maintain end-to-end capital delivery processes covering the full project lifecycle, from concept and option development through delivery, commissioning, and handover
Translate strategic delivery requirements into clear, practical processes, procedures, and standards
Ensure capital processes are proportionate to project size, complexity, and risk
Ensure capital processes are aligned with and integrated across key interfaces, including portfolio governance, commercial management, finance, risk, and assurance
Review existing capital delivery processes to identify inefficiencies, duplication, bottlenecks, and unnecessary controls
Work with delivery teams to review existing capital delivery processes, looking to drive more efficient process flows
Embed continuous improvement by incorporating feedback, lessons learned, and performance insights into ongoing process updates
Manage and maintain the Lessons Learned process and system solution
Lead the embedding of new and updated capital processes across internal teams and delivery partners
Develop supporting materials such as process maps, guidance notes, templates, and toolkits to support consistent application
Support training, briefings, and hands-on engagement with project teams to drive understanding, buy-in, and adoption
Support alignment of capital processes with organisational systems and tools
Monitor the effectiveness of capital processes in practice, using data and delivery outcomes to inform iterative improvements to processes and ways of working
Build strong working relationships with delivery teams, Portfolio Office colleagues, and support functions
Other duties as required from time to time
Requirements:
Relevant 3rd level qualification in Property/Engineering/IT/Business/Legal or related discipline
Minimum of 5 years relevant experience, with at least 3 years’ experience leading teams/ Projects
Demonstrated experience in process design, improvement, and implementation, ideally across multiple stages of the capital project lifecycle
Practical understanding of project and programme management methodologies, delivery controls, and governance requirements
Experience in project and budget management desirable
Experience in the management of 3rd Party Service Providers
Proven ability to create, develop and maintain strategic working relationships to facilitate the accomplishment of work goals, coupled with the ability to gain commitment from others
Demonstrate strong decision making, influencing and negotiation skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Experience identifying improvement opportunities, generating ideas and implementing solutions
Excellent analytical skills and ability to identify and analyse problems and potential improvements, and propose and implement solutions
