Job Description:

Driver needed to work 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM with periodic overtime to be expected. Early starts may be required to ensure delivery is made timely to job sites, and deliveries may extend beyond normally scheduled shifts to ensure equipment is returned to the company main office. No overnight travel is anticipated.

Job Responsibility:

Communicating with shipping personnel at vendors to identify discrepancies on shipping tickets
Ensuring materials listed on purchase orders are the same as what is picked up
Loading and Unloading Truck(s)
Backup for shipping/receiving as assigned by supervisor
Attend to other duties as assigned

Requirements:

Current driver’s license in accordance with the REAL ID Act
Clean driving record
Ability to pass a background check for base access
Ability to obtain Medical Examiners Certificate
Must be able to pass a DOT physical
Ability to receive access to government or military facilities
Must provide personal wear work boots suitable for construction environment including protective toe
Must be able to speak, read, and write in English using legible print
Must be able to recognize and read part numbers on materials and packages
Must be able to translate information on company forms and documents
Must be capable to learn and earn a certificate to drive additional equipment (e.g., 6000 lb Fork Lift, Lull, Man-lift)
Must be capable to safety maneuver Pickup truck, Van, Small stake body truck, 24’ stake body truck
Must be able to occasionally lift 40 – 75 lb with proper lifting techniques
Must be able to occasionally lift 75 – 100 lb with assistance
Must be able to regularly lift up to 40 lb with proper lifting techniques without assistance
