Job Description:

Atrium Shopping Centre, part of the Rank Group of Companies, is a proudly local retail group representing four leading brands, with five furniture showrooms across Atlantic Canada and two thriving e-commerce platforms. Advance Furniture Distribution, located in Burnside, serves as the distribution centre for our showrooms. AFD is currently seeking a Delivery Driver to join our professional delivery team.

Job Responsibility:

Packing and loading product onto trucks
ensuring accuracy of orders
Ensuring safe and timely delivery of product to predetermined customers on specific routes
Maneuvering merchandise into customer’s homes in an efficient and safe manner
Providing an exceptional delivery experience for customers through professionalism and superior customer service
Working in warehouse

Requirements:

Valid Class 5 Driver’s
Previous commercial driving experience is preferred
Previous experience with furniture deliveries a strong asset (but willing to train)
Ability to consistently lift 50+ lbs in a safe manner
Exceptional customer service skills and professionalism
Reliable
Strong team player

Nice to have:

Previous commercial driving experience
Previous experience with furniture deliveries
