Job Description:

Are you an experienced driver with a passion for safety and a deep knowledge of the Edmonton area? Randstad is currently seeking a dedicated Delivery Driver for a permanent, full-time position with one of our valued clients in the west end of Edmonton. In this role, you will be a vital link in the supply chain, ensuring that essential first responder and emergency equipment reaches hospitals, construction sites, and fire stations across the region.

Job Responsibility:

Safely and efficiently operate a delivery vehicle, such as a cargo cube van, to transport goods to customers' locations
Follow assigned routes or use GPS navigation to ensure on-time deliveries
Package Handling: Load, unload
Timely Deliveries: Adhere to delivery schedules and deadlines to ensure customers receive their orders within the specified timeframe
Communicate with customer service or manager
Documentation & Records: Maintain accurate delivery records, including delivery confirmation signatures, receipts, and any other required documentation
Complete necessary paperwork or electronic forms associated with deliveries

Requirements:

Valid Class 5 driver’s license with a clean CVOR and a pristine Driver’s Abstract
High school diploma or equivalent educational background
2 to 3 years of professional experience as a delivery driver
Previous experience working within a warehouse or manufacturing & logistics environment
Proficient basic computer skills for electronic logging and documentation
Ability to pass a background check as required for deliveries to high-security sites
