Full UK driving licence (our Hayley Dexis branded delivery vans are manual)
Previous experience in a delivery driver role
A good knowledge of the local, geographical area
A keen eye for health & safety awareness
Ability to be flexible and adaptable
Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges in a dynamic industry
Excellent communication skills

Job Responsibility

Starting the day at our branch in West Thurrock, loading the company van with various deliveries as well as preparing the delivery notes to go with them
Using local knowledge to complete several timely and accurate deliveries to various customers in the East Midlands area
Playing a key part in keeping things moving smoothly while enjoying the independence and variety that comes with being out on the road

Deliver high-quality fresh produce on a multi-drop route across London
Represent Smith & Brock with professionalism and courtesy at every delivery
Build strong, positive relationships with customers
Load and unload your vehicle with care, ensuring orders are accurate and secure
Carry out pre- and post-vehicle checks and report any defects
Maintain vehicle cleanliness and a professional appearance (uniform required at all times)
Follow scheduled routes and comply with road safety and food handling regulations
Support the warehouse team or assist with loading when required
