Job Description:

At IKEA Manchester we have exciting opportunities to join our growing team as Delivery Drivers! As a Delivery Driver, you will shape a new area in our business, ensuring the on-time delivery of IKEA goods to customers in the local area whilst delivering a high level of service.

Job Responsibility:

Complete vehicle safety checks and take appropriate action
Load goods into the vehicle in a safe and organised manner to meet allocated timings
Deliver goods to customer’s homes and take them into a nominated room, carrying out risk assessments
Handle a range of furniture items using safe manual handling practices
Efficiently manage the collection and processing of returned products

Requirements:

Must have held a Full UK Drivers License for a minimum of 24 months
Aim to deliver the best possible experience and problem solve
Takes Health & Safety seriously and comfortable risk assessing
Attentive to details especially when performing vehicle checks
Practiced and capable driver, experienced in working with GPS and maps
Offers support and will step in to assist team
