Job Description:

We are expanding our home delivery operation and have exciting opportunities to join our growing team as Delivery Drivers (Service Fulfilment Operations Technician)! As a Delivery Driver, you will shape a new area in our business, ensuring the on-time delivery of IKEA goods to customers in the local area whilst delivering a high level of service.

Job Responsibility:

Complete vehicle safety checks and take appropriate action
Load goods into the vehicle in a safe and organized manner ensuring to meet allocated timings for each delivery
Deliver goods to customer’s homes and take them into a nominated room, carrying out risk assessments on location to prevent injury and damage to property
Handle a range of furniture items using safe manual handling practices, employing both one and two person lifting
Efficiently manage the collection and processing of returned products, ensuring compliance with IKEA's returns policy

Requirements:

Must have held a Full UK Driver’s License for a minimum of 24 months
Aim to deliver the best possible experience, prepared to step up and problem solve
Takes Health & Safety seriously and comfortable risk assessing environment
Attentive to details especially when performing checks on vehicle
Practiced and capable driver, experienced in working with GPS and maps
Offers support and will step in to assist team when necessary to secure tasks in connection to role
