The Delivery Supervisor is responsible for the quality and efficiency of the delivery departments and their operations. In this high impact role, you will serve as a liaison between long term care facilities and delivery staff.
Job Responsibility:
Coordinate work schedules and delivery routes
Monitor work flow to analyze patterns and trends
Review and set standards for staff
If needed
Provide timely and accurate delivery of medication, equipment, products and/or supplies into long term care facilities or patient’s homes
Conduct routing staff meetings
Attend management meetings as required
Train all transport personnel
Requirements:
Driver’s license in good standing and a clean driving record
Possess strong leadership and management skills
Ability to solve problems
Excellent communication skills and work well with other employees
Excellent customer service skills
Must maintain a valid driver's license
Ability to use routing software (if applicable)
Ability to drive a standard transmission IF necessary
Customer service orientation
Sit, stand, stoop, bend and walk intermittently during the day
Sit or stand seven (7) to ten (10) hours per day
Lift up to twenty-five (25) pounds
Finger dexterity to operate office equipment required
Visual acuity to see and read fine prints
Must be able to hear normal voice sounds
May be necessary to work extended hours as needed
Fully vaccinated against COVID-19 prior to start date
