Job Responsibility
provide timely and accurate delivery of medication, equipment, products and/or supplies into long term care facilities or patient's homes
Load products/materials
Be responsible for vehicle maintenance and alerting management of maintenance issues
Maintain and full compliance with all Federal, State and Local laws and regulations
Delivers prescription orders and products to customers on a predetermined route and schedule
Demonstrates ethical conduct, maintains patient confidentiality, and ensures regulatory compliance standards are met
Manages all assigned pharmacy workstations and tasks to support the organization's ability to fill patient prescriptions promptly, safely, and accurately
Manages any other duties as assigned
Coordinates workflow to assist in preparing and processes medications to fill patient prescriptions
Follows policy and procedure for product compounding, assembly of clinical products, and medication preparation
Loads and organizes products and materials for delivery into delivery vehicle following safety guidelines
Completes delivery logs and submits supporting documentation
Ensures safe operations of all delivery vehicles and compliance with all government laws and regulations
Operates devices and applications for route navigation
Demonstrates professional and ethical standards
Requirements
Basic awareness of problem solving and decision-making skills
0-2 years work experience
Customer service orientation
Physical Requirements: Sit, stand, stoop, bend and walk intermittently during the day
Sit or stand seven (7) to ten (10) hours per day
Lift up to twenty-five (25) pounds
Finger dexterity to operate office equipment required
Visual acuity to see and read fine prints
Specific vision abilities required by this role include close vision, color vision and the ability to adjust focus
