Job Description:

We are looking for a Part Time Permanent Delivery Driver/General Assistant to join the team in our Stringers Garden Centre. The hours for this position are 20 per week over 5 days including regular weekend shifts so flexibility is a must.

Job Responsibility:

  • Carrying out customer deliveries ensuring safe vehicle operation
  • Till operation and serving customer when required
  • Stock replenishment and merchandising across all department
  • Merchandising stock
  • Any other duties associated with a retail environment

Requirements:

  • 25 years or over due to insurance restrictions
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Full understanding of safe warehouse operation and manual handling
  • Forklift Licence
  • Driving License
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Attention to detail when checking stock
  • Hardworking
