Full valid B-Category UK manual driving licence with no more than 6-points
Great customer service skills
Time management skills
Able to cope with the physical requirements of the role (e.g. lifting of crates, moving cages)

Job Responsibility

Checking your delivery routes for the day
Loading and preparing your van for deliveries, ensuring all orders are together and can be efficiently delivered directly to customers
Ensuring all of the appropriate vehicle safety checks are complete on your van, maintaining full road compliance, health and safety
Being an ambassador for the Waitrose brand while on the road with great customer service as your number one priority
Helping customers with their shopping and building a rapport with them based on trust and service
Supporting the wider shop team when required with general shopkeeping tasks

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. repetitively throughout your full shift and move heavy items safely

Job Responsibility

Assist with prompt and courteous pickups and deliveries
Load and unload the truck as required
Complete assigned tasks efficiently and accurately
Participate in meetings and training sessions
Ensure all paperwork is accurate and processed correctly
Utilize a Warehouse Management System (WMS) to locate and pick items for customer orders
Build and assemble customer orders accurately and efficiently
Verify the accuracy of picked orders and ensure that all picked orders are properly labeled and staged for shipping
Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote a safe and efficient working environment
Collaborate with other team members to meet daily production goals
