As a Delivery Cyclist, you will be the face of Solent Pizza Delivery, representing our commitment to quality service and customer satisfaction. Your primary responsibility will be to deliver hot, delicious pizzas and other menu items safely and efficiently across the vibrant Cardiff Bay area.
Job Responsibility:
Safely and promptly deliver orders to customers in Cardiff Bay, adhering to all traffic and safety regulations
Maintain excellent customer service standards, greeting customers warmly and handling orders professionally
Ensure all deliveries are accurate and that food is transported in a manner that maintains quality and temperature
Manage electronic transactions securely and accurately
Report any issues or delays to the management promptly to maintain smooth operations
Keep delivery equipment, including bicycles and thermal bags, clean and in good working order
Collaborate with kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure efficient order preparation and dispatch
Requirements:
Previous experience in delivery, hospitality, or catering is preferred but not essential
A confident road user with good knowledge of Cardiff Bay and surrounding areas is highly advantageous
Strong communication skills and a friendly, approachable manner
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
A confident cyclist, physically fit and comfortable cycling for extended periods, including in varying weather conditions
Basic numeracy skills for handling payments and orders
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and bank holidays is required
