Job Responsibility
Job Responsibility
  • Execute pre-defined iterations: convert already-scoped iterations into clear delivery plans, coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure execution, hold teams accountable for timelines and commitments, identify risks early and escalate in time for action, do not redirect scope or change priorities set upstream

  • Own stakeholder relationships: maintain ongoing working relationships with all requestors, ensure stakeholders feel heard and respected even when requests are declined, provide clear reasoning behind decisions, build long-term credibility and trust for future collaboration

  • Surface resource constraints: monitor workload vs. shared resource capacity (engineering, design, data, content), flag capacity risks early with specific details, avoid silently absorbing resource shortages or escalating only during crises
  • Communicate progress upward: provide honest status updates to the VP of Product: what is on track, what is at risk, what requires decisions, avoid presenting unvalidated work as completed success, avoid framing uncertainty as failure
