To lead the end-to-end strategy for sourcing, hiring, and onboarding frontline Delivery Associates (DAs) and managing 3PL acquisition. This role ensures Breadfast's last-mile workforce and 3PL partners are recruited, onboarded, and operationally ready at scale. The Lead is responsible for aligning recruitment efforts with business needs, driving process improvements, and developing a strong specialist team to deliver on high-volume hiring demands.
Job Responsibility
Lead and develop a team of specialists focused on DA and 3PL acquisition and onboarding
Foster a culture of accountability, ownership, and operational excellence
Provide coaching, training, and continuous feedback to build team capability and performance
Partner with Operations to forecast DA and 3PL workforce needs by region and seasonality
Align hiring strategies with workforce planning, demand, and operational priorities
Collaborate with HR Business Partners and People teams to ensure that hiring strategies align with organizational goals
Oversee sourcing strategies across multiple channels (job boards, referrals, 3PL partnerships, hiring events, community outreach, etc.)
Test and adopt innovative sourcing methods to strengthen pipelines
Ensure an efficient, scalable, and high-quality hiring process that balances speed with fit
Own and optimize onboarding processes for Delivery Associates and 3PL partners
Design structured onboarding experiences that drive early engagement, reduce no-shows, and accelerate ramp-up time
Ensure documentation, system entry, and operational handover are completed smoothly and consistently across regions
Track recruitment and onboarding funnel metrics (e.g., time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, show-up rate, early attrition)
Generate insights on DA and 3PL acquisition effectiveness, risks, and opportunities
Lead continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency, reduce bottlenecks, and enhance candidate experience
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field
6+ years of experience in high-volume recruitment, including last-mile or logistics
Proven track record in leading blue-collar or mass-hiring teams
Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills
Analytical and data-driven, with experience in recruitment funnel analysis and reporting
Hands-on experience with ATS and onboarding systems
Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multi-regional hiring initiatives
