Job Responsibility

Supervises and participates in daily departmental operation including but not limited to: customer service, slicing, packaging, weighing and labeling of deli products
Monitors product rotation and discounting, escalating product feedback to vendors as applicable
Responsible for departmental ordering to support the Company's Merchandising and Promotional strategies
Participate in regular department head meetings to address strategic direction and departmental needs
Responsible for expense control in the deli including but not limited to labor and operational expenses and preventative maintenance
Provide training to new and existing Associates on Company best practices, company expectations as well as policy adherence
Provide performance management to ensure the department aligns with the Company Mission, Vision and Guiding Principles
