Job Description:

We are seeking Full-Time Deli Assistants for Mac's Place Deli who are fully flexible to work in our Barack Obama Plaza. You must be available to work on weekdays and weekends. (This is not a part-time or weekend-only position.) Objective: To delight customers by exceeding their expectations on every visit. The Deli Assistant provides ongoing support to the Management Team to ensure every customer receives the best quality, service, and cleanliness each time they visit the store.

Job Responsibility:

Serve customers in a friendly and efficient manner
communicate with customers effectively
deal with customer complaints professionally
ensure products served in line with Food Hygiene Requirements
maintain knowledge of deli sales and promotions
assist customers with queries
maintain deli area hygiene
receive and check stock
ensure product storage and display conform to food hygiene policy
rotate stock to minimise waste
conduct stock takes
comply with HACCP regulations
take care of health & safety
check temperatures
maintain HACCP records
monitor Critical Control Points
comply with controls around fresh and red meats
perform any other duties assigned

Requirements:
