Job Description:

An excellent opportunity to join a leading Lloyd's Broker as a Team Leader for the Delegated Authority Claims team. You'll be responsible for managing the day-to-day running of the DA Claims team, ensuring operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and first-class service delivery to coverholders. This role offers a blend of leadership, technical oversight, and process improvement within a dynamic and growing business.

Job Responsibility:

Manage the day-to-day operations of the DA Claims team, including appraisals, development, and performance management
Ensure high professional standards and continual improvement in service delivery
Oversee the preparation and review of bordereaux
Maintain and update financial and claims records
Produce claims and earned-to-incurred statistics, working with other teams as required
Manage and authorise claims payments and liaison with Accounts
Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, TPAs, insurers, and internal stakeholders
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and FCA regulations including Consumer Duty and CASS
Monitor workloads, service levels, and SLAs across the team to ensure timely delivery
Support training, system testing, and implementation of new enhancements
Handle escalations and ensure effective issue resolution

Requirements:

Previous experience in a similar Delegated Authority claims role within the London Market
Strong understanding of DA contracts and processes
Knowledge of CLASS, ECF, IMR, and other London Market systems
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Strong Microsoft Office skills
