Job Description:

An excellent opportunity to join a leading Lloyd's Broker as a Team Leader for the Delegated Authority Claims team. You'll be responsible for managing the day-to-day running of the DA Claims team, ensuring operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and first-class service delivery to coverholders. This role offers a blend of leadership, technical oversight, and process improvement within a dynamic and growing business.

Job Responsibility:

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the DA Claims team, including appraisals, development, and performance management
  • Ensure high professional standards and continual improvement in service delivery
  • Oversee the preparation and review of bordereaux
  • Maintain and update financial and claims records
  • Produce claims and earned-to-incurred statistics, working with other teams as required
  • Manage and authorise claims payments and liaison with Accounts
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, TPAs, insurers, and internal stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and FCA regulations including Consumer Duty and CASS
  • Monitor workloads, service levels, and SLAs across the team to ensure timely delivery
  • Support training, system testing, and implementation of new enhancements
  • Handle escalations and ensure effective issue resolution

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar Delegated Authority claims role within the London Market
  • Strong understanding of DA contracts and processes
  • Knowledge of CLASS, ECF, IMR, and other London Market systems
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills
