Job Description:

We have been retained by an innovative, defense-side employment litigation boutique with a national practice that seeks to hire a litigation associate. The firm operates remotely, and the environment is warm and collegial, with a strong emphasis on collaboration, mentorship, and sustainable careers—attorneys are encouraged to “live whole lives” while doing sophisticated work.

Job Responsibility:

  • Defend employers in a variety of commercial litigation and employment litigation matters, including wage-and-hour and PAGA actions
  • Draft pleadings, motions, and other substantive court filings
  • Assist with case strategy, discovery, and client counseling
  • Work closely with partners and other attorneys in a collaborative team environment
  • Gain meaningful, hands-on litigation experience

Requirements:

  • 2–4 years of experience
  • California bar admission required
  • New York bar admission a plus
  • BigLaw or similar background
  • Strong writing, analytical, and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent judgment and professionalism
  • cultural fit is critical
