We have been retained by an innovative, defense-side employment litigation boutique with a national practice that seeks to hire a litigation associate. The firm operates remotely, and the environment is warm and collegial, with a strong emphasis on collaboration, mentorship, and sustainable careers—attorneys are encouraged to “live whole lives” while doing sophisticated work.
Job Responsibility:
Defend employers in a variety of commercial litigation and employment litigation matters, including wage-and-hour and PAGA actions
Draft pleadings, motions, and other substantive court filings
Assist with case strategy, discovery, and client counseling
Work closely with partners and other attorneys in a collaborative team environment
Gain meaningful, hands-on litigation experience
Requirements:
2–4 years of experience
California bar admission required
New York bar admission a plus
BigLaw or similar background
Strong writing, analytical, and interpersonal skills
Excellent judgment and professionalism
