Requirements

Minimum of 3-5 years of litigation / lawyer experience with a focus on professional liability/malpractice defense and complex commercial litigation
Pennsylvania (PA) Bar admission is required
New Jersey (NJ) and/or New York (NY) Bar admission is a plus
Strong familiarity with Pennsylvania and Federal Court rules, local court practices, and civil filing procedures
Excellent legal writing and research skills with the ability to analyze cases and draft persuasive arguments
Strong ability to multi-task, prioritize deadlines, and convey complex legal issues clearly in writing and verbally
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, online legal research platforms, and case/document management systems

Job Responsibility

Represent defendants in trial and appellate courts, handling professional liability/malpractice claims, complex commercial litigation, and employment litigation matters
Conduct depositions, prepare and argue motions, draft trial documents, and manage all aspects of discovery
Perform detailed legal research, apply strategic analysis, and communicate findings effectively to clients, attorneys, and courts
Attend court appearances, hearings, and other legal proceedings in Pennsylvania and the surrounding region while maintaining strong client relationships
Utilize legal research platforms such as Westlaw and document management systems like iManage to streamline casework
