Job Responsibility

  • Act as a liaison between Bombardier Defense Engineering and the customer’s engineering organizations
  • Facilitate customer viewing of Bombardier Defense protected data as required
  • Act as first technical point of contact for the customer and support technical customer relations on behalf of Bombardier
  • Engage with customer to be able to provide customer risks or issues back to Bombardier Defense Engineering
  • Integrate with the customer to ensure Bombardier Engineering compliance for customer technical and schedule requirements
  • Facilitate customer driven changes into Bombardier Change Board activity
  • Communicate with Bombardier and customer stakeholders to ensure there is solid alignment and coordination
  • Support Bombardier stakeholders by providing customer status to assist with regular governance updates
  • Daily working location would be on-site at either of the customer locations (Greenville, TX / Rockwall, TX) depending on the needs of the program and customer

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
  • minimum of 4 years of technical leadership experience
  • minimum of 8 years of technical engineering experience in aerospace
  • excellent understanding and relevant experience in the aircraft development environment from conceptual design to aircraft certification
  • strong leadership and communication skills
  • strong communication skills and situational judgement
  • self-starter/self-motivated with strong organizational and time management skills
  • strong technical knowledge of aircraft, aircraft systems and special mission equipment (preferred)
  • knowledge of ITAR regulations and previous experience in government and/or military programs
  • qualify as U.S persons under U.S. export control laws
  • eligible to view and handle ITAR/Controlled Goods material
  • available to travel to Bombardier facilities
