Job Responsibility:
Act as a liaison between Bombardier Defense Engineering and the customer’s engineering organizations
Facilitate customer viewing of Bombardier Defense protected data as required
Act as first technical point of contact for the customer and support technical customer relations on behalf of Bombardier
Engage with customer to be able to provide customer risks or issues back to Bombardier Defense Engineering
Integrate with the customer to ensure Bombardier Engineering compliance for customer technical and schedule requirements
Facilitate customer driven changes into Bombardier Change Board activity
Communicate with Bombardier and customer stakeholders to ensure there is solid alignment and coordination
Support Bombardier stakeholders by providing customer status to assist with regular governance updates
Daily working location would be on-site at either of the customer locations (Greenville, TX / Rockwall, TX) depending on the needs of the program and customer
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
minimum of 4 years of technical leadership experience
minimum of 8 years of technical engineering experience in aerospace
excellent understanding and relevant experience in the aircraft development environment from conceptual design to aircraft certification
strong leadership and communication skills
strong communication skills and situational judgement
self-starter/self-motivated with strong organizational and time management skills
strong technical knowledge of aircraft, aircraft systems and special mission equipment (preferred)
knowledge of ITAR regulations and previous experience in government and/or military programs
qualify as U.S persons under U.S. export control laws
eligible to view and handle ITAR/Controlled Goods material
available to travel to Bombardier facilities
