I am looking for a proactive and hands on Defects Project Manager with a strong background in hard services and surveying. This is a dynamic, site focused role, managing building defects from identification through to resolution, ensuring quality, compliance, and client satisfaction. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to step into a long term role while making an immediate impact!

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead and manage end-to-end defects processes across projects
  • Carry out detailed inspections and condition surveys of building fabric and M&E systems
  • Identify, log, and prioritise defects, ensuring timely resolution
  • Coordinate contractors and consultants to deliver remedial works
  • Review technical reports, drawings, and specifications to inform solutions
  • Ensure works are completed in line with quality standards
  • Act as the key point of contact for stakeholders
  • Take a hands on approach on site, resolving issues in real time
