Job Responsibility:

  • Take ownership of defect management processes across projects, ensuring that issues are clearly logged, triaged, prioritised, and tracked through to resolution
  • Provide visibility of defect trends, facilitate triage sessions, and drive continuous improvement in quality practices
  • Support testing activities across system, system integration, end-to-end, and user acceptance testing, ensuring defects are raised with clarity and managed effectively to minimise delivery risk
  • Analyse defect trends, facilitating collaboration across delivery teams, and improving the overall quality process

Requirements:

  • 5–7 years’ experience working across system, system integration, and user acceptance testing environments
  • Strong experience managing and coordinating defect lifecycles across multiple testing phases
  • Proven ability to lead defect triage sessions and drive prioritisation across delivery teams
  • Experience producing defect reports, dashboards, and quality metrics for stakeholders
  • Strong understanding of functional testing processes and defect management tools
  • Ability to identify trends in defects and recommend improvements to quality practices
  • Confident in providing regular updates on defect status and escalating risks when necessary
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience working within Agile delivery methodologies
  • Eligibility for Security Clearance required

  • Background in consultancy roles
  • Experience with defect management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar

  • Lead with Product Expertise: Establish and maintain expert level mastery of the Quantum Metric platform, quickly adopting new capabilities and serving as a subject matter expert for both customers and internal peers
  • Deliver Thought Leadership: Acts as a subject matter expert within your assigned vertical, actively contributing to vertical playbooks and key strategic initiatives that define and advance Quantum Metric’s Business Consulting methodology
