Are you a Deductions Specialist with experience in the CPG industry? Are you immediately available for work in the North York area? If so, we have the role for you! Randstad has partnered with a well known organization in North York, looking for a Trade Deduction Analyst to support the Compliance team over the next 6-8 months. This contract role will be starting in the next two weeks so only qualified applicants that are not currently working will be contacted.

Job Responsibility:

  • Analyze and Process Deductions: Review and validate trade deductions (like promotional allowances, rebates, or chargebacks)
  • Investigate Discrepancies: Identify and research any discrepancies and work to resolve any issues related to pricing, discounts, or contract terms.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Finance Teams: Work closely with the sales team to ensure that all trade agreements are accurately reflected in the system. Partner with finance to ensure that deductions are processed correctly in financial reports. ...
  • Track and Report on Deduction Trends: Maintain records of trade deductions and generate reports for internal stakeholders, identifying trends or areas of concern
  • Communicate with Customers: Serve as a point of contact for customers regarding deductions, answering questions, and negotiating resolutions when necessary

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of Investigating Trade Deductions experience
  • Proficiency with SAP and Excel
  • Previous experience in CPG industry is preferred
  • Previous experience with Tableau is preferred

  • Monitor and track the daily analysis of customer disputed invoices/short-payments on a very high volume-based activity
  • Perform analysis of customer accounts based on the customer's purchases, payment history, credit worthiness, credit limit exposure and our business strategy
