Job Description:

Randstad is seeking a Trade Deduction Analyst to support the Compliance team for a 3+ month contract role in North York, Ontario. The position offers a hybrid work model after initial training and requires proficiency in SAP and Excel, as well as experience in the CPG industry. The role involves analyzing and processing trade deductions, investigating discrepancies, collaborating with sales and finance teams, tracking deduction trends, and communicating with customers. Applicants should have 2+ years of relevant experience.

Job Responsibility:

Analyze and Process Deductions: Review and validate trade deductions (like promotional allowances, rebates, or chargebacks)
Investigate Discrepancies: Identify and research any discrepancies and work to resolve any issues related to pricing, discounts, or contract terms
Collaborate with Sales and Finance Teams: Work closely with the sales team to ensure that all trade agreements are accurately reflected in the system. Partner with finance to ensure that deductions are processed correctly in financial reports
Track and Report on Deduction Trends: Maintain records of trade deductions and generate reports for internal stakeholders, identifying trends or areas of concern
Communicate with Customers: Serve as a point of contact for customers regarding deductions, answering questions, and negotiating resolutions when necessary

Requirements:

2+ years of Investigating Trade Deductions experience
Proficiency with SAP and Excel
Previous experience in CPG industry is preferred
Previous experience with Tableau is preferred
