You will be hands-on in deep cleaning operations, site decontaminations, emergency environmental response and more, working in some of the most critical, challenging, and rewarding environments across the UK. From confined spaces to high pressure jetting, every day is different and no two jobs are the same.
Job Responsibility:
Carry out a range of specialist cleaning tasks, including deep cleaning, tank cleaning, site decontamination, decommissioning, and emergency response often involving confined space entry, high-pressure water jetting, working at height, and handling hazardous, chemical, or biological materials
Operate tools and equipment safely in line with risk assessments and standard operating procedures
Support the development and implementation of health, safety, environmental, and quality procedures
Maintain high site standards, including housekeeping, equipment care, and proper storage of tools and consumables
Comply with the conditions of site permit-to-work systems
Report any equipment faults or PPE/RPE issues promptly
Participate in training, pre-job risk assessments, and the emergency response rota as required
Complete job-related documentation accurately and on time, working closely with Technical Operations
Assist with vehicle cleaning and restocking after use and perform waste packaging and collection duties
Ensure full compliance with all Company policies and procedures, including ensuring the correct use of PPE / RPE, health and safety and employment
Undertake alternative duties at the Hazardous Waste Transfer Station and any other ad hoc tasks or projects as assigned by management or the Board, within the scope of your skills and capabilities
Requirements:
Previous experience in industrial cleaning, hazardous waste handling, or similar field is highly desirable
Strong awareness of health & safety practices and willingness to work in high risk environments
Physically fit, reliable, and able to work as part of a team or independently
Willingness to participate in training and emergency rota duties
A flexible approach to working hours, including emergency response and occasional working away from home
Attention to detail, particularly with documentation and compliance procedures
Willingness to work towards certifications such as IPAF, PASMA, CSCS, or NEBOSH/IOSH qualifications
