Deckhand

• Carry out maintenance, repairs and installations of moorings and grid infrastructure
• Perform duties aboard vessel including lookout, steering and engine-room watches
• Loading, unloading and handling of deck cargo
• Reporting and liaising with farm management
• Stock control, logging and management of ships’ supplies
• Adherence with all local laws and company policy
• General maintenance
• Inspection and maintenance of equipment and facilities around the farm
• Monitoring and maintaining fish health, welfare and bio-security
• Boat handling around the farm
• General farm tasks to keep the whole operation running

• Experience of moorings and grid work is desirable
• STCW & RYA certification is required
• Hold or able to obtain and retain an ML5 or ENG1 medical certificate
• Flexible approach to working
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Ability to understand site aims and support team
• Respect for safe working practices
• Drivers licence is essential
