STCW Fire Fighting and Fire Prevention (A-VI/1-2) certificate
STCW Elementary First Aid (A-VI/1-3) certificate
STCW Personal Safety and Social Responsibility (A-VI/1-4) certificate
Seafarers medical certificate

Job Responsibility

Execution of duties as designated by watch keeping rota
Responsible to the Watch Keeping Officer on Watch for any/all duties
Responsible to the Coxswain when engaged as a Rescue Craft crew member
Familiar with the use of Breathing Apparatus and possess basic Fire Fighting Skills
Form part of both the vessel's on board Emergency Response team, and Rescue Craft's
Monitor safe working practices of shore contractors during periods of maintenance
Actively promote and progress the company Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental Policy
Actively promote inter-departmental communications
