Job Description

The Company currently have vacancies for Deckhands in its ERRV/MRV fleet. Candidates must hold OPITO ITSO (or Medical Aid and Rescue Care) and OPITO FRC Boatman certification. Start date 4th July 2026. Permanent contract. 4 weeks on/off rotation. Suitable candidates require to have a minimum of 6 months relevant sea time and have worked as a Deckhand previously, preferably on an ERRV vessel. In return we offer a competitive salary, 28 days on/off rotation, contributory pension scheme and access to our Employee Assistance Programme.

Job Responsibility

  • Execution of duties as designated by watch keeping rota
  • Responsible to the Watch Keeping Officer on Watch for any / all duties
  • Responsible to the Coxswain when engaged as a Rescue Craft crew member
  • Be familiar with the use of Breathing Apparatus and possess basic Fire Fighting Skills
  • Forming part of both the vessel's on board Emergency Response team, and Rescue Craft's whereby applicable
  • Monitoring safe working practices of shore contractors during periods of maintenance
  • Actively promoting and progressing the company Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental Policy
  • Actively promoting inter-departmental communications
