The Debug Technician diagnoses, troubleshoots, and repairs faults in electronic or mechanical hardware and software, using diagnostic tools and schematics to find root causes, often at the component level (like PCBAs). They repair defects, ensure quality, document findings, and collaborate with engineers to improve product reliability and manufacturing processes, requiring strong problem-solving and technical skills
Job Responsibility:
Troubleshooting & Repair: Identify and fix issues in hardware/software using schematics, BOMs, and test procedures
Component-Level Work: Rework, replace, and repair faulty components (e.g., SMT devices, integrated circuits) on circuit boards
Testing & Validation: Set up and operate complex test equipment (oscilloscopes, etc.) to verify functionality
Quality Control: Ensure products meet specifications and support continuous improvement
Documentation: Accurately record repair details, failure data, and maintain logs
Engineering Support: Collaborate with engineers on new product development, procedure updates, and process improvements
Requirements:
