Job Description:

The Debt Capital Markets (DCM) team are product specialists responsible for winning and executing debt capital market business and providing expertise to frequent and prospective issuers in partnership with Investment Banking Coverage, Institutional Client Group and Fixed Income. Typical clients include public sector entities, corporates, banks and insurance companies and the primary products offered by the team are inaugural public bonds, private placements, covered bonds, Euro Medium Term Note programme (EMTN) issuance, liability management and bank capital considerations. The Financial Institutions Group (FIG) Syndicate desk is responsible for underwriting and placing debt financing solutions for Financial Institutions and Insurance Companies issuers. You will be aiding in the execution of primary market transactions and providing debt capital markets expertise to clients across the specified sector with a focus on Financial Institutions and Insurance Companies.

Job Responsibility:

  • Frequent interaction with all areas of Deutsche Bank, including Debt Origination, close collaboration with Capital Solutions, Liability Management and Environmental, Social, and Governance, the Risk Management Solutions team in the Corporate Bank, Investment Banking Coverage (IBC) and Regional Management, in addition to infrastructure areas including legal and compliance
  • Assisting on several important client relationships and providing expertise to other clients in the region.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience working on a DCM Syndicate desk with experience in pricing and structuring bond offerings with clients in the sector
  • Exceptional skills using Bloomberg, Excel and an array of conventional DCM market data sources to efficiently analyse information and prepare high quality content for issuers
  • The ability and willingness to work as an integral team member, managing time efficiently, to work simultaneously on a wide array of different projects, each of which will move at a different pace
  • Design and implement high quality solutions and idea generation, for which prior experience with similar clients would be highly additive
