Job Description:

This job is to remove the debris (cardboard, trash, plastic shrink wrap, damaged merchandise, and any other material that needs to be removed at the clients request). The team member will operate power equipment to transport the debris from one location to another. The team member will spend the total scheduled hours in the standing position. The job also includes bending, lifting, pushing, and pulling. The team member will be properly trained to operate electric debris compactor. The team member will be trained on all safety requirements that need to be followed while performing this job function. The team member must be able to work in a team oriented environment on a daily basis.

Job Responsibility:

  • Remove debris (cardboard, trash, plastic shrink wrap, damaged merchandise)
  • Operate power equipment to transport debris
  • Collect debris from the facility with carts
  • Transport debris to the debris compactor
  • Operate the electric debris compactor
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

Requirements:

  • Must be able to operate power equipment
  • Must have basic range of motion for bending, lifting, pushing, and pulling
  • Must be able to work in a team oriented environment
  • Must be able to complete and abide by all safety rules
  • Must hold a valid driver’s license
  • Must be willing to accept a background check
