Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
CPA or CMA designation preferred
Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a controller role (automotive dealership experience strongly preferred)
Proven experience managing financial operations for multiple locations
Strong knowledge of dealership management systems (DMS) and financial software, such as CDK Global, Reynolds & Reynolds, or similar platforms
Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Ability to effectively manage competing priorities in a deadline-driven environment
Understanding of automotive industry trends, compliance regulations, and best practices

Job Responsibility

Oversee all accounting and financial operations for multiple dealership locations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
Ensure accurate and timely completion of month-end and year-end close processes
Develop and implement financial controls and policies to support compliance with regulatory requirements
Collaborate with dealership General Managers to analyze financial performance and identify cost-saving opportunities
Monitor cash flow, inventory, and expense controls to achieve profitability goals
Supervise and mentor dealership accounting staff, providing training and leadership to optimize team performance
Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and corporate leadership as needed

7+ years of hands-on experience with SAP ECC and S/4HANA FI/CO
Proven track record in implementation, rollout, and AMS projects for both local and international clients
