The position The dCommerce Sales Manager, Benelux translates the regional digital commerce strategy into a clear channel roadmap and AOP, leading execution across eGrocery, Pureplay, and Marketplaces while driving growth, ROI, and cross-functional alignment.
Job Responsibility:
Lead development and execution of the dCommerce AOP and customer plans, ensuring strong integration with key retailers—especially eGrocery
Own end-to-end A&M budget deployment (>€1MM), optimizing Retail Media investments to drive conversion and support priority brands
Establish and run governance frameworks (forecasts, scorecards, QBRs/MBRs) with clear KPIs
track performance and course-correct rapidly
Deliver annual sales targets (Volume, Net Sales, Contribution), ensuring pricing discipline, promo efficiency, and profitable mix
Lead and develop a team of 3 FTEs
provide coaching, feedback, and capability building in performance marketing and negotiation
Orchestrate the Global Capability Centre to scale performance marketing, analytics, and test-and-learn initiatives
Manage the Picnic account end-to-end
lead Joint Business Planning, define assortment and activation strategy, and support Buying Group negotiations
Support and advise negotiations with key customers to maximize retail media impact and omnichannel growth
Negotiate and close CDAs aligned to customer plans
ensure strong executive alignment and stakeholder engagement
Optimize A&M investments (formats, audiences, flighting) to improve incrementality and ROAS across Retail Media Networks
Drive best-in-class execution standards across digital shelf, content, availability, search, and ratings/reviews
Ensure seamless collaboration with Sales, Marketing, Category, Supply Chain, and Finance to enable plan delivery and risk management
Act as the single point of accountability for dCommerce performance, ensuring execution quality and continuous improvement
Requirements:
9+ years of E-commerce or digital marketing experience, preferably in food and beverages
Extensive experience in ecommerce leadership in a fast-paced commercial environment
A proven track record in managing P&L and driving online growth
Established commercial leader with network in eCom in Dutch market and strong reputation (especially with key retailers) in the market to drive Partnerships and external wiring
A customer-centric mindset with strong analytical and strategic thinking
