Job Description

Amazon Web Services Infrastructure Services team provides comprehensive technical support throughout the design, planning, delivery, and operation of Amazon Web Services infrastructure. We support data centers and the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that ensure the customers of Amazon Web Services have continual access to the innovation they rely on. We work on the most challenging problems, with thousands of variables impacting the supply chain — and we’re looking for talented people who want to help. You’ll join a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations technical support managers, and other vital roles. You’ll collaborate with people across Amazon and our operating partners to help Amazon Web Services deliver the highest standards for safety and security while providing seemingly infinite capacity at the lowest possible cost for the customers. And you’ll experience an inclusive culture that welcomes bold ideas and empowers you to own them to completion. Amazon is seeking a DCT to support the Data Center Infrastructure Operations. Ideal candidates will be a self-motivated, possess strong communications skills, with the ability to quickly learn new technologies, and phenomenal attention to detail. This is a global opportunity where the candidate will have to work with teams in Seattle, UK, India and China. And as a Data Center Technical Support Technician, you are a primary resolver for your support team, and are skilled at troubleshooting one or more operating systems. You are able to troubleshoot and solve all but the most complex infrastructure issues.

Job Responsibility

  • Support all aspect of a mission critical spare parts pool for server and network equipment
  • Provide technical support in effective troubleshooting and repairing servers and networks
  • Support various hardware troubleshooting and replacement
  • Support Server and networking equipment installation and removal
  • Support RMA and repair process for all devices
  • Support technicians in daily works and activities as directed escalation
  • Directed project work

Requirements

  • Graduate between 2025/7 to 2026/7
  • Bachelor Degree/Associate diploma in Computer Science, Network Engineering, or Electronic Engineering related
  • Basic knowledge of computer or networking hardware
  • Experience with computer hardware troubleshooting and repair
  • Able to follow a well-defined technical standard operating procedure (SOP)
  • Experience in office applications including but not limited to Outlook, MS Word, and MS Excel
  • Good written & verbal communication skills to explain complex issues
  • Able to read English document, write in English to explain simple facts

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of server hardware and components
  • Knowledge of fiber optic and copper cabling standards, testing equipment and troubleshooting methodologies
