Job Description

As a Supply Planner, you’ll play a key role in ensuring high product availability at the lowest effective cost. You’ll manage forward supply plans, optimise inventory levels, and collaborate closely with suppliers and internal teams to keep our network running smoothly. Job Responsibility

  • Maintain and optimise the forward supply plan to meet demand and service levels
  • Manage all supply planning inputs in SAP and SAP IBP
  • Generate purchase orders by exception and follow up within one week of placement
  • Maintain accurate product statuses, master data and system flagging
  • Support new product launches, product deletions and promotional activity
  • Challenge supplier MOQs/EOQs/MOVs to align with Sigma’s inventory policy
  • Analyse inventory levels and forecasts to support cost‑effective decisions
  • Identify and escalate short‑, medium‑ and long‑term inventory risks
  • Assist with onboarding new suppliers or products to meet customer requirements
  • Build strong supplier relationships through regular performance reviews
  • Champion process improvements and support enhancements to planning tools
  • Work cross‑functionally with supply chain, transport, inventory and retail teams
  • Contribute positively to team culture and uphold Sigma’s values

Requirements

  • Tertiary qualification in Supply Chain or Business
  • 2+ years’ experience in a Supply Planning role
  • Experience in the Healthcare or FMCG sector
  • Knowledge of SAP, SAP APO, SAP IBP, or similar ERP/planning systems
  • Understanding of the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process
  • Strong organisational and planning capability
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Confident written and verbal communication
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • A current driver’s licence is required
