As a Distribution Centre (DC) Storeperson, you will play a key role in ensuring that the right stock gets to the right store at the right time for our customers. Primary Connect is constantly changing to meet business demands. This position requires a strong sense of teamwork and focus on safety to ensure that products are dispatched in a timely manner to our customers. Your commitment and alignment to our purpose of 'connecting communities with the products they need and love' will help drive the success of the DC.
Job Responsibility
Accurately assemble orders to be delivered to stores on time
Master new skills to become proficient in using voice pick technology and operating Manual Handling Equipment (MHE)
Ensure safety and compliance and uphold important company policies and safety standards
Grow in a fast-paced environment
Be part of a dynamic team and collaborate with supportive team members
Requirements
Previous pick/packer experience will be highly regarded
Ability to repetitively lift and handle items up to 20 kg
Attention to detail
Effective communication skills
Willingness to work during peak periods
Comfortable using warehouse equipment and embracing new technology
