Job Description

Under general supervision, the Distributions Center Operations Support Specialist will work with the Manager of DC Operations and DC Operations Support Supervisor to assist with identifying opportunities for best practices through process analysis and data rationalization in the Distribution and Fulfillment Centers. Travel Required: Up to 25-35% Depending on the need

Job Responsibility

  • Creates and establishes Lean and Six Sigma processes for DC Operations
  • Assists with coordinating, analyzing, and reporting DC operations data
  • Assists with identifying opportunities for process improvements
  • Assists with developing, testing, and implementing new processes
  • Ability to communicate process improvements through the use of data, for example expense and ROI calculations
  • Creates analytical tools to identify and justify CAP/EX expenditures
  • Performs other duties as required

Requirements

  • Typically requires a bachelor's degree and zero (0) to two (2) years of related experience or an equivalent combination
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Ability to convert data into compelling charts and graphs
  • Strong communication skills
