Dc maintenance tech i - pm shift

• Perform the daily activities of the maintenance staff
• Engage in repairs and maintenance of all material handling equipment and facilities to meet operational and facility needs
• Provide electrical support for both facilities related items as well as operations level material handling systems and any other critical path electrical support
• Serve as a leader in all maintenance troubleshooting activities including electrical, communication issues, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic maintenance, HVAC, lighting and repair of MHE and conveyors
• Participate in and mentor others in analyzing defects and failures
• Work closely with operations staff on problems associated with material handling equipment and building facility needs
• Assess preventative maintenance needs, schedule, and participate in preventative maintenance on material handling and facilities equipment per provided schedule
• Evaluate and mentor others in assessing equipment, processes, operations, and assembly to determine time or quality revisions and suggest improvement
• Lead in team building at all levels within the distribution environment
• Practice and teach safe work practices to prevent accidents
• Serve as a leader in establishing additional duties and responsibilities as required to meet the established goals of the facility

• Mechanical inclination
• Electrical experience a plus, but not required
• Ability to manage multiple priorities
• Autonomous work ethic

• Computer literacy
