Job Description

Take charge of DB Administration within a client-focused culture for a major UK pensions provider

Job Responsibility

  • Managing the full lifecycle of pension scheme administration (CDC, Superfund and Annual Events)
  • Overseeing benefit calculations, retirements, transfers, deaths and other member events
  • Ensuring accuracy and timeliness of all pension-related transactions
  • Overseeing daily contact centre operations, monitoring and managing service levels, response times and customer satisfaction metrics
  • Mentoring and developing a team of pension administrators
  • Acting as the main point of contact for trustees, employers, and advisers

Requirements

  • Pensions expert with significant experience in occupational pension scheme administration
  • Strong knowledge of DB and/or DC schemes
  • Background in managing or supervising a pensions administration team
  • Sound understanding of relevant pension legislation and governance requirements
  • Demonstrable ability to manage budgets and operational performance
  • Comfortable working to tight deadlines and with competing priorities
  • Calm and pragmatic mindset with aptitude for problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
