We are delighted to offer an exciting opportunity for a Day Centre Coordinator to join the team at Radfield Care – Derby. Our adult day care centre in Spondon, Derby provides a safe, welcoming, and stimulating environment where older adults can socialise, take part in meaningful activities, and feel supported. We deliver person-centred care, tailored to each individual, with trained Care Professionals on site. Make a difference in your local community

Job Responsibility

  • Plan, organise, and deliver engaging weekly activity programmes
  • Create activity planners tailored to individual needs, including dementia support
  • Maintain accurate care plans, risk assessments, consultations, reviews and daily records
  • Encourage social interaction and mental stimulation
  • Provide emotional support and companionship
  • Lead and support a small team
  • Promote Radfield Day Centre within the local community
  • Celebrate seasonal, cultural, and national events in an inclusive way
  • Ensure the day centre operates in line with CQC standards, policies, and procedures
  • Promote safeguarding, dignity, and person-centred care at all times

Requirements

  • Aged 18 or over
  • Full driving licence and access to your own vehicle
  • No sponsorship required
  • This role involves working with vulnerable adults and is subject to an enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references
  • Experience in a similar role
  • Experience working with people living with dementia (desirable)
  • Strong communication, planning, and organisational skills
  • Creative, patient, and adaptable
  • Confident using IT systems for record keeping
  • Trustworthy and dependable
  • Confidence supporting service promotion, open days, or community events
  • Ability to remain calm and decisive in challenging or unexpected situations

  • Maintain real-time updates of ROV/ ROC personnel movements in the offshore people system, ensuring accurate recording and processing of all ROV personnel man days for cost tracking and recovery purposes
  • Liaising with OPO and ROV Crewing Lead to ensure offshore ROV/ROC personnel are aligned with crew change schedules
  • Support the ROC Supervisor in daily coordination of workforce allocation
  • Communicate personnel status changes clearly to all relevant stakeholders
