Job Description:

The Day Auditor plays a pivotal role in maintaining the financial integrity of the Resort. This position is responsible for verifying and reporting hotel revenues, ensuring all financial data is accurately captured and reported in accordance with both local regulations and Four Seasons’ internal policies. The Day Auditor reviews all revenue-related documentation submitted to the Accounting department and ensures its accuracy, completeness, and compliance with internal controls. A key output of the role is the preparation and publication of the Daily Revenue Report, which serves as an essential tool for Resort leadership to monitor daily financial performance and guide strategic decision-making.

Job Responsibility:

  • Review and verify daily revenue postings from all operating departments
  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial information through detailed reconciliation and analysis
  • Compile and distribute the Daily Revenue Report to Resort leadership
  • Monitor compliance with internal financial policies and procedures, with particular focus on revenue recognition
  • Identify discrepancies or irregularities and escalate as necessary
  • Collaborate closely with Front Office, Food & Beverage, and other operational departments to resolve revenue issues
  • Assist with month-end closing and financial reporting tasks as needed

Requirements:

  • College education or equivalent professional experience in Accounting or Finance
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in an accounting role (such as Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable) or in an operating department with a strong accounting focus
  • Solid understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Four Seasons Internal Controls related to Income Audit
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong numerical and analytical skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work independently and maintain high levels of integrity and confidentiality
  • Ethical decision-making and sound judgment in financial matters
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Fluent in English

Nice to have:

  • Knowledge of Arabic is a plus
  • Previous Four Seasons experience is an asset but not required
