In the Prague office, we are collaboratively contributing to the development of a Multi-Tenant Warehouse, a project called Rainbow, which serves as a system for regulatory reporting of the whole KBC Group and its entities in 5 EU countries.
Job Responsibility:
Manage the regular run of DWH tenant in assigned areas using adopted know-how and available resources
Execute deployment of changes to the particular DWH environments and technologies
Address and resolve straightforward technical issues reported by users or detected through monitoring systems
Provide support and guidance to end-users helping them navigate and resolve simple technical issues
Monitor systems for any abnormalities, alerts or potential issues ensuring early detection
Log, categorize and prioritize support tickets as well as tracking their resolution progress
Escalate more complex issues to higher-level support teams when necessary, providing detailed information for efficient resolution
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of common issues, solutions, and troubleshooting procedures
Perform routine system checks, updates, and maintenance tasks to prevent issues and ensure optimal performance
Communicate with relevant parties (data sources, local entities, Service Desk, development teams, and Incident Management to optimize the run as well as the subsequent solution of operation issues
Actively participate in the identification and implementation of improvements to enhance support efficiency
Requirements:
Technical background
Knowledge of specialized tools (SQL—must-have, GIT, query tools, basic Linux, Informatica monitoring—nice to have)
Analytical skills and ability to read through system logs and solve issues
Knowledge of DWH components and their way of utilization—nice to have
Basic knowledge of the environment within AGILE methodology
Team-player
Creativity, flexibility
Ability to partially work in irregular shifts including some out-of-business hours and on-call support if needed
