Your main missions are to ensure the hosting of the Digital platforms by managing the multiple German Datacenters and to participate in the development of the Disaster Recovery Plan (DRP) for AH group. You will be the primary point of contact for our German DataCenters working closely with your counterpart supporting the French DataCenters, ensuring operational excellence and robust business continuity. You will organize, follow-up and support the regular DRP tests with the main objective to sustain the Digital service availability. The job position is located at Donauwoerth, main plant of the Airbus Helicopters group in Germany.
Job Responsibility:
Datacenter - Manage operations: Define and organize the processes for the reception, storage, decommission of the physical devices in AHD datacenters and technical datarooms in satellite locations. Focal point for the local operational team subcontracted to Airbus group external partner
Datacenter - Manage the urbanization: Define, manage and optimize the implementation of devices in the AHD datacenters, based on the best practices for power and cooling constraints
Datacenter - Ensure operability: Ensure, in relationship with AHD Facility Management department, the power and cooling needs in order to guarantee the continuous 24/7 Digital service delivery and environmental lowest footprint
Datacenter - Document: Manage and keep up to date the AH Group CMDB for physical devices. Define, maintain and generate regular dashboards for the follow-up of the major Datacenter activities (KPIs). Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date documentation for all Datacenters infrastructures and processes
DRP - Manage local AHD tests: Prepare, organize, coordinate, develop and follow-up AHD site regular DRP tests (general and unitary) in relationship with AH Group DRP manager and application owners
DRP - Document: Manage and deliver local AHD DRP KPIs. Manage and keep up to date AHD local DRP documentation (in relationship Application owners, experts…) and associated processes. Manage return of experience (RETEX) on major DRP incidents related to AHD
DRP - Manage training: Define, maintain, optimize customized AH Group operational training sessions on DRP for various stakeholders (Application owners, Manager on Duty, Experts…)
DRP - Automation: Define, develop, optimize operational scripts to automate DRP tools for documentation and reports in relationship with AH Group tools set.
DRP - Continuous improvement: Continuously optimize the DRP processes and documents to efficiently manage the Digital service resilience
DRP - Crisis management participation: In the event of a disaster, actively contribute to the coordination and execution of the disaster response and recovery plan.
Service Catalog management: Define and maintain up to date the Datacenter and DRP service catalog which describes the delivered services.
Requirements:
Master's degree level (or equivalent) in Information Technology or related field
Experience with DRP processes and/or DataCenter management proven
General knowledge on IT infrastructure (network, technical infrastructure) and ITIL concepts
General basic facilities technical skills (power and cooling technologies) and environmental controls
Knowledge in scripting languages to develop automation
Proficiency in creating and managing technical documentation
Proven production environment management

Curious, open-minded, collaborative team player with strong communication skills
Autonomous, organized, delivery/customer-oriented, technology enthusiast and crisis facing robustness
Experience working on projects with international teams and stakeholders
