My client are looking for a Database Specialist, and are flexible on seniority, hence the salary range. You will work on their highly complex integrated database stack, which facilitates many different parts of the business.

Job Responsibility:

  • Database Management: Supporting and managing PostgreSQL and related databases across the organisation
  • Integration: Working across a complex, integrated database environment supporting multiple business functions

Requirements:

  • PostgreSQL: Strong DBA experience
  • Linux: Solid Linux skills
  • Python: Scripting and automation experience

Nice to have:

  • Advanced Linux administration skills
  • Experience with Chef, Terraform or Ansible
  • MS SQL, Redis, MongoDB experience
  • Experience with Prometheus, Grafana or similar tools
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
  • AWS or GCP experience
  • VMware experience
